Terms & Conditions

By placing an order with Heart and Design you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.

Colour/Design/Material Variations

All Heart and Design stationery is handmade using high quality base materials. This means each piece is unique and there may be slight variations with your stationery. If changes to base materials beyond our control mean your final stationery could be noticibly different from the agreed design proof we will contact you to check you are happy before proceeding.

The photographs on our website (and printouts of these photographs) are for illustration only as their appearance can be affected by the settings of your software, monitor, printer, inks, etc. We highly recommend ordering a sample pack of your chosen design prior to placing an order.

Amendments

You will have the opportunity to proof read and sign off the final designs before your stationery is created. If you request any amendments after approval of the final proofs this will incur an extra charge as production of your stationery will have commenced.

You are responsible for the proof reading of the text and copy for your stationery. Heart and Design cannot be held responsible for any mistakes present on the proof copies noticed after the proofs are signed. Names supplied for place cards and table plans will be reproduced exactly as provided so please ensure that spelling and capitalisation of names are correct. We will not begin production until the proofs have been approved by you.

Copyright

All designs are copyright and property of Heart and Design and may not be reproduced without permission. You may not use any of our designs on any other material without our permission. You may not instruct any third party to use any of our designs on any other material, or to recreate our stationery without our permission.

You are responsible for obtaining permission to use any poems, hymns, song lyrics or other material (excerpts or complete) in your stationery. When submitting material for inclusion in your stationery you are indicating that you have permission from copyright holders to do so and you indemnify Heart and Design against any action brought for breach of copyright. Copyright usually exists for 70 years after the death of the copyright holder - you should seek advice if you are unsure whether you need permission (and if you do, how to obtain it) to use something in your stationery.

Prices

Our prices are reviewed annually, please check our website or contact us for up to date prices.

Health and Safety

Some of our cards contain small parts and as such are not suitable for children under 36 months.

Payment

Payment is required in full at the time of ordering. Payment can be made by debit card, credit card or cheque. Please note: we can only accept payment by credit / debit card for orders placed through our website.

Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled and a full refund given within seven working days of us receiving your order. If you decide to cancel after this time but before you have signed off your proofs we will refund your payment minus a 20% admin fee. Once proofs have been signed no refund can be given, as production will have commenced. You may wish to consider taking out personal wedding insurance to cover your costs in the event of you needing to cancel or postpone your event.

Delivery

We offer free postage on all U.K. orders. If you wish to place an order from outside of the U.K. please contact us prior to placing your order for a delivery quote. We aim to deliver your stationery within four weeks of receiving your order but this time scale may be extended if there is a delay in receiving signed / approval of proofs. Once we have received your approval of the proofs we will give you a definite delivery date. A signature will be required on delivery.

Returns

We do not except returns of personalised items except in cases of manufacturing defect.

We must be notified of any defective goods within seven working days of receipt of your order. Faulty goods must be returned to us by recorded delivery. Postage costs will be reimbursed. Once we have received the defective items we will contact you to arrange a replacement or refund.

Returns of non personalised items must be notified to us within 14 days of the receipt of goods.

In all cases you must contact Heart and Design before returning any item.
